  2. was mostly form filling. Company seem ok, but some of the people being trained are...well ..idiots. Case in point: they think "borat" is "the greatest movie made ever" >_< I had to have a lie down after hearing that.

  3. yes, I bought 3 pairs of shoe's the other day making a total of 8 pairs, thus I no longer felt manly.

  4. the name of the book I was thinking of is "Top Dog" . Fingers well and truly crossed for you!
  5. how about the books that inspired movies like Green Street and Football Factory? (total mind blank but I will go scour my book shelves after my driving lesson and come back with a name).
  6. good one. I like AVG, I use it on my dads laptop, but at times the free version seems to get a little lax and things get through, no AV is flawless, they all miss things at times. P.S Whoever it was that was using limewire - bad!
  7. kappersky is as good as AVG if not better. What spec of machine is this? as those types of slowdowns are highly unusual. As for the msn etc not working, It sounds like you just need to let the firewall allow them. (There must be a management panel somewhere for it where you can allow/disallow net connections.) *Edit* Norton is about as effective as a sieve as a ship. *edit2* Seems like maybe the kaspersky install is corrupt and is killing everything in it's way, try un-installing it then re-installing it. (methinks the bar was not doing "****** all" and you have killed the end of the install..) *Edit3* Also AVG is not a firewall so on it's own is no good.

  13. but your FAR MORE rude reply making personal attacks IS right? P.S respect is earned not demanded because you are old.
  14. If he played the Dr in the style of begby, I would watch Dr Who for the first time.
  15. so if you want to see the future you will go to see a fraud? In that case, I have for sale an excellent racing haggis, only 1000 pounds.
  16. common sense prevails!!!

  17. That is kind of the point, laying out the depressing future that could happen (and lets face it, we are not *that* far away from it.)
  18. This is how I feel about Watchmen, I hope they dont slash it and have an alternate ending like has been hinted since the test screenings
  19. Munificent. Not from a book but kryten calls legion munificent in an episode of red dwarf. May I suggest we share the meaning of our new found words too? munificent: From The Collaborative International Dictionary of English v.0.48 [gcide]: Munificent Mu*nif"i*cent, a. [L. munificus; munus service, gift + -ficare (in comp.) to make. Cf. {Immunity}, {-fy}.] Very liberal in giving or bestowing; lavish; as, a munificent benefactor. -- {Mu*nif"i*cent*ly}, adv. Syn: Bounteous; bountiful; liberal; generous. [1913 Webster]
  20. No I woudlent, Then again she is like a second mother to me where as you are just a name on a screen. what does that have to do with it? Am I to treat you differently because your older? That would be a breach of your rights to not be excluded due to your age. You are entitled to your opinion - And when you post it on the internet I am entitled to question it. If you dont like your opinion being questioned, dont put it online. *edit* changed last line as this is *not* in the debate room:smile2:
  21. Not when they play dead characters they dont.. or when they are water boarded etc. Of course that just doesn't rank to a possibly scared puppy.
  22. yes, some, a VERY small %. If Casualty is taken off air it is not going to be over a few complains, it will be because it's played out. Why is Animal cruelty rated higher than human suffering ? was really my main point..
  23. Not too bad, I got a padlock the other day and got it open in about 5-10 min, Went out today to try get a proper door lock but the locksmiths has shut :o

  24. I am not saying she does not,I am simply saying rather than file a complaint that will be ignored and cant change what happened she should move on and maybe even find something better than casualty. Lots of things on TV annoy me, rather than write to tv stations every time they air a new reality tv show, I just don't watch it. (while being angry at those who do )
