  1. Out by Natsuo Kirino

Out is a gritty thriller, set in modern-time Japan; it follows the lives of four dissatisfied (for various reasons) women working the late shift at a boxed lunch factory. When one of the women murders her husband in a fit of rage, and recruits her fellow workers to dismember and dispose of the body, she sets into motion a chain of events that will leave each of them altered forever.

  2. I'm on Goodreads as well - 'angerball' is my username - if anyone wants to join up and friend me. :welcome: I do prefer LibraryThing, though - it just seems more organised, and more customisable (ie. picking your own cover, etc.).

  3. ^I'll give you a quick reminder! :welcome: Atonement was one of my best reads of 2007. I just loved everything about it - the style of writing, the characters, the storyline, and the ending. It's definitely one of my most memorable reads, and one I would recommend. :006:

  5. Currently reading Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl. It clocks in at 514 pages of tiny, tiny writing. :thud:It's a bit too dense at the moment; it would be a lot better without the waffle and constant obscure references that don't really add much to the story.
