    My parents knew I taped them but said don't bother after a bit. They said when I was allowed to watch them they'd buy me the DVD.

    One of the things I like about this book is the arguments the characters have; the long speeches they have which show the views of the time. I especially like the one near the middle somewhere

    And we can all read "p" books when the film finishes, eg Private Peaceful!

    I always re-read books. I tend to just re-read the ones I really enjoyed the first time around, when I haven't got anything new to read.

    It looks great. David looked just how I imagined him. I read it at school, but not because I was told to! (it was in my school library) I can't remember what made me pick it up now - especially as it is classed as a historical novel in there - but I'm very glad I did! It is!! It is!!

    I love Eragon - my friend got it for me for my Birthday, and now Eldest has been added to my TBR list...my ever-increasing TBR list.

    yeah, I know, my yr 4 teacher told me. I thought I'd just say Lucy Daniels anyway so I don't spoil it for people. It spoiled it for me well i got to page 50!!

    for the 2 older kids: garth nix (the old kindom series + others), eoin colfer (artemis fowl and others), alison croggon (the gift/riddle/crow), jacqueline wilson (everyone knows her!! ), and...bonnie bryant (the saddle club books), lucy daniels (animal ark and others) and......I'll get back to you on that

    i think the books are even better!! d'you know, there's not going to be any quidditch in the next film!! grrr!!

    i like hardbacks because...well i dunno, really, they're just good... but i like paperbacks too cuz they're cheaper and you can buy more!!

    the gift/the riddle/the crow I was just wondering if anybody else had read these fantastic books. They are by Alison Croggon, and I love them!!!!!!!
