I read this and saw the DVD and came to the conclusion that "the secret" - tho positive - does not apply to everyone in the monetary sense ( the most prominent sales point of the peice ) I mean, a villiager in Kumbai can utelize "the secret" all he wants, but he's never going to morph from the forest to the city where financial opportunities await to carry him into abundant living.

My daughter has read this book until the pages in her copy fell out. I tried to get through it, but was unable to. However, due to some research I have to do, I'm going to pick it up again. I like reading WHY everyone enjoys it so much, and will look for these qualities as I endeavor a second effort.

impossibly amazingly regrettably an LY word, actually - she tends to overuse.

The publishing industry needs a major correction anyhow -- advances are so far out of hand ( like fees paid to A-list actors ) it's out of whack.

I've had to change two covers. The changes made the books triple in sales. It's amazing how one image can appeal to some, and another image appeals to someone else. I blogged about it here. KW
