  1. Postman Pat and His Black and White Cat ~ Postman Pat
  2. Not much chance of that. These days, a couple of wines and I'm asleep
  3. Started reading Landscape In Sunlight by Elizabeth Fair, but have put it aside temporarily because I had a sudden desire to reread A Month In the Country by J. L. Carr. Can fully understand why I loved it so much the first time.
  4. Don't Stop the Dance ~ Bryan Ferry
  5. Simon Smith And His Amazing Dancing Bear ~ Randy Newman
  6. My main complaint about Atonement was Briony. She annoyed me so much as a character, it put me off the whole book. I did like McEwan's writing though.
  7. My evening Milo
  8. Lovely (just have to add six months for the southern hemisphere 😊)
  9. The Teddy Bears Picnic ~ Henry Hall
  10. So sorry this is how you're feeling, Chrissy. As long as it's not due to underlying things, try not to stress about it too much. Your 'This too shall pass', is a great way to view it xxx😘⚘

    Your Age?

Big Congratulations and much love to you both on your anniversary Muggles ❤ That's an impressive number! So glad you could get to Maine again, can see why that's your favourite restaurant there ... bet lobster featured heavily on the menu again 😁
  12. Theme from The Molly Maguires by Henry Mancini
  13. I've just started reading Landscape In Sunlight by her 😊
  14. This is one I've been tempted to read, so will definitely get it now!
  15. Hope you enjoy them too, Marie ... let me know what you think. They're fairly light reading, but her characters are well written. I'll probably read another one next 😄
  16. I'm onto my third book by Margery Sharp ... Cluny Brown, Rhododendron Pie and The Stone of Chastity. These were all written in the 1930's and 40's. Margery Sharp writes rather unconventional and original characters who are very likeable and there is always a good dose of comedy, along with some insightful observations. Enjoying them very much.
  17. I've been watching Midsomer Murders again, starting from the first series (Prime Video). I lost interest once Tom Barnaby retired so it's been good to be able to revisit these. I'm sure there'll be some I've missed along the way.
  18. A Little Good News ~ Anne Murray
  19. Home By the Sea ~ Genesis
  20. Christmas Time is Here Again ~ Marty Robbins
  21. Morning Has Broken ~ Cat Stevens
