  1. I think several of PG Wodehouse's books are collections of short stories. One is Carry On Jeeves and another The Inimitable Jeeves. They are very funny and light-hearted. I hope your Mum will be OK.
  2. Winter Winds ~ Mumford and Sons
  3. For the first time I've just noticed yours is from Where the Wild Things Are, Janet, one of my favourite children's books
  4. I love Vlad's art, but I haven't seen that one before. Such a lovely shade of green. What an amazing looking tree the real dragon tree is on your link, Chrissy. I found your picture full size in case anyone wants to see http://www.vladstudio.com/wallpaper/?socotra
  5. Black Fingernails Red Wine ~ Eskimo Joe
  6. I love Chrissy's latest tree one, it feels very restful
  7. Echo ~ Eskimo Joe love this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMwQw08EI_Y
  8. I'd forgotten all about this game!! Played it today for the first time in absolute ages. It would be movies, which I'm absolutely hopeless on. Surprisingly got 9/10 but I was incredibly slow
  9. I'm so sorry to hear about your puddy cat, Kay I think it's absolutely lovely that you and your husband read to each other.
  10. Beach In Hawaii ~ Ziggy Marley (that's right Muggles, so we did!! I think Sofia used to be pretty quick off the mark )
  11. I loved the Mia Farrow/Robert Redford version too but have a lot of respect for DiCaprio's acting ability (thought he was excellent in The Aviator) so would love to see this. Can't wait for The Hobbit, part of it was filmed on some land my neighbour co-owns on Canaan Downs, Takaka. One I've just seen advertised that's been released today, Hugo, looks exciting.
  12. Intergalactic ~ Beastie Boys
  13. Janie's Got a Gun ~ Aerosmith
  14. Pickle, I just love your drawings! You would make such a wonderful illustrator of stories. Do you copy these or do they come out of your imagination?
  15. I've just discovered Mumford and Sons and have fallen in love with them.
  16. I loved this movie too, Emma Thompson is always great and I love movies set in this time period. Me too I want a Nightfury!!
  17. Brothers In Arms ~ Dire Straits
  18. Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides. I didn't think this was the best of the series, but still entertaining.
  19. I'm so glad you reviewed this book Poppyshake, as it's not a book I would ever have considered reading, wrongly assuming it was one of those chick-lit type books which really aren't my thing. However, I've now added it to my 'books to look out for on my next foray to the local library' list
  20. Such a prettily sad song. One of my all time favourite ones of Joni's Fantastic album (thanks Weave )
  21. Do You Really Want To Hurt Me ~ Culture Club (I can't believe I just put that song. ......Yes! Yes! YES!!!!! I DO!!!!!)
  22. Great to hear there's some more Stella Gibbons out there. I've only read Cold Comfort Farm and Bassett and really love her sense of humour. 'I saw something nasty in the woodshed,' still makes me giggle.
