  1. I love this episode. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah!!! That was so funny:lol: Although, I didn't like the girl in the bar for obvious reasons
  2. fireball, :yahoo: :eek2: You just made two people VERY happy!! Two more sites just added to favourites. Paula's right-YOU ROCK!!
  3. As much as I don't want this series to end, I can't wait for the season finale. It's gonna be cool! Nice to see we have another Supernatural fan here fireball, me and Paula were getting lonely in this thread all by ourselves!! (Although we did have Jensen to keep us warm ) xx
  4. I like the cover-very nice! Wait until you see sexy Sam!! OMG
  5. I'm giving up on A Place Called Here, I can't get into it. I'm not doing very well lately, that's 2 in a row I've abandoned. However, I am enjoying Sophie's bakery for the Broken Hearted so I think I've found a book I'm actually going to finish!
  6. I nearly fainted when I saw the words "turned down pages"!!! I can never, EVER turn down the pages, it's my pet hate. I like a nice bookmark, although sometimes I have to resort to an Iceland till receipt!
  7. *covers eyes* I'm not reading your post, I had to tape this again! Hopefully will get to watch it tonight.
  8. I enjoyed this too. They really are in trouble now!!
  9. I'm still reading A Place Called Here, but have also started Sophie's Bakery for the Broken Hearted by Lolly Winston, which I got free in a magazine ages ago. I'm really enjoying it, it's flowing along nicely at the start so I think I'm going to enjoy this one.
  10. I've got The World According to Garp on my TBR pile. I haven't read any of his others, although I'm going to look out for A Prayer for Owen Meany as this seems to be one of his most popular books.
  11. I'm really sorry, I know all the Margaret Atwood fans on here are going to hate me, but I just can't get into The Blind Assassin. It's just not my thing and I'm not enjoying it. Please forgive MA fans! I've decided to give up and start on A Place Called Here by Cecelia Aherne.
  12. I've taped this, so I haven't seen it yet. I'll get back to you!!
  13. I love going to the library, but ours is very small. They get all the new books in, but I usually have to order them because there are so many people after 1 copy! The staff are very friendly and know me and my children really well now. My boys have their own cards and enter all the reading schemes the library do to encourage kids to read. My eldest has got 3 medals from there, and my little one is reading towards getting a teddy bear! The only problem with going to the library is that my TBR pile keeps getting bigger instead of smaller! A friend of mine used to live in London and she says their library had a cafe in it so you could have a coffee while looking at the books you were thinking of taking out! How blissful would that be
  14. LOL!! I bought The Notebook because i absolutely love the film, but just found it dull and boring. I was so disappointed. I can't believe they even bothered to make a film from it, although I'm glad they did.
  15. I finished The Eyre Affair this morning, curled up in bed while my husband ran around after the kids!! Bliss! I loved the play on words, such as characters names. I also liked the use of time and space travel, this was just a very clever, entertaining book. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series. There is a fifth book due out in July called First Among Sequels, which carries on the story of Thursday Next. Hopefully, I'll catch up in time for its release. I have now started The Blind Assasin by Margaret Atwood. I've only read a few pages so still too early to say what I think.
  16. Hope you like it here. Don't worry, your TBR pile will be massive once you've been around here looking for some reading ideas!
  17. From the library I've got: The Blind Assasin-Margaret Atwood A Place Called Here-Cecelia Aherne Which means my TBR pile just got a bit bigger!! Still reading The Eyre Affair and absolutely LOVING it!!
  18. I got The Blind Assasin by Margaret Atwood from the library today, as everyone seems to have great things to say about her. I'll let you know how i get on.
  19. What order do the rest of the books come in? I am loving The Eyre Affair so definitely want to read the rest of them. Bought Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain for 50p from our local charity shop. I'm really pleased as I've been after this for ages, my husband used to be a head chef. (A nice one, not a knife throwing, screaming, swearing one like some I've had to work with!)
  20. OK, I know this is irrelevant, but your avatar is too scrumptious for words!!!! You've read so many books already, I'm so slow! My Mum is desperate to read Shopaholic and Baby, and I want to read Chocolate Lover's Club. I've got a few of your books read on my LibraryThing wish list.
  21. I thought this episode was really creepy and it gave me goosebumps! I HATE DOLLS!!!! That's my second hate after clowns so this was another scary one for me.
  22. Oooooh, I forgot Philadelphia. That was a major weepy for me!!
  23. I'm known to cry if a film has a sad ending and even a happy one!! I love a good cry at a film. The ones that never fail are: Beaches City of Angels Bicentennial Man (I know, I'm sad!!) Ghost Return of the King Pay It Forward The Pusuit of Happyness (The end had me blubbing like a great big baby!)
