Most of them hire kilts. 21 is quite a good age to think about getting your own. Thanks for looking at the piccies. The other piccie I can't remember what we were looking at, but there was a playpark across from there, maybe my nephew was hanging from the monkey bars...lol.

The sporran is the furry dangly thing at the front....lol. It can open up to contain important things like hip flask...lol. or mobile phones in this case, money etc.

In answer to 'I have to ask, though, what's the thing with the different colors and patterns and the tight fold/wide fold -thing? And black/white socks?' What do you mean, are you talking the sporran or the kilt!? Maybe just the angle the kilt is at, it is flat at the front and pleated at the back. You can have different coloured socks don't have to be white.
