Andy and Glendale had a 2-2 draw in a Fosters Scottish Amateur Cup. Not bad considering their lack of fit players/players on holiday against a mid table premier team. Replay probably next weekend.

I had enough problems keeping up with all the characters on the TV series, no way would I attempt the reads, but hubby on the other hand devoured them. This one sounds familiar, sure I read it many moons ago when needed a simple straightforward easy read. I'm really enjoying 'Afterwards' ~Rosamumd Lupton.

I don't have a kindle/ebook thingy but I think this is just a bit excessive is it not! Just had my regular Waterstones email through and there was the latest list of top ebooks. Would be nearly just as well buying the hardback! This one of them Would you pay this?

Phone rung at 8.30 this morning, all council pitches unplayable today as was yesterday. Bit of a god send really, as U'15's were short of players and were calling up 4 trialists (friends of players) to make up numbers. It is October school hols for 2 wks and a few away. They have called in one of their 'free weekends' for next Sunday so no game and no training this week either.

I was wee bit sad she went out too Kay, but makes for an interesting final with all the guys. Really hope Brendan nose gets put out of joint... . I want James to win as long as he doesn't try to be to OTT and adventurous.

Andy non to pleased about Bale and 'the penalty'...looking back on it looks like a blatant dive, although in the papers he says different. All credit to him his second goal was a good one. As usual Scotland have the inevitable uphill climb....

Andy's game already called of for tomorrow....tipping it down here most of the day, so he is away out with a mate to a pub to watch Wales v Scotland and have a few beers. Just finished reading the second on the trilogy...I will eventually get around to the third one.

'Catching Fire' by Suzanne Collins Finally got to grips with this book. Was a bit slow to start with and a bit samey as 'The Hunger Games' but I plodded on with it and glad I finished it. Some interesting new characters and a bit of a twist and unexpected towards the end. I definitely need to read the last in the trilogy to find out the outcome. Need to get a copy first though. 4/5

I use lots of the above combos....but when I have a sore red nose I use Happy Nose on it...it is lovely and soothing balm.

Good luck with that Vase...do you get the flowers to put in it too if you win it... Shame about the fog. It is a bit much travelling all that way to have it called off due to the weather, but fog you can't play in...lol.
