  7. I neglected to than you Chrissy for posting the short story by Neil Gaiman, an author that I have come to really enjoy, and whose writing I was introduced to by that person fron NZ. I just finished downloading his book "Stardust" which I will start reading tomorrow.
  8. I have cornbread in the oven, wife is making crabcakes, will also have wild rice with sundried tomatoes, and peas as a side.
  9. UConn Women are there, but not for long.
  10. Finnish Whistler - Roger Whittaker
  11. Granted, but some of the new sights you would see up close might make your hair stand on end or fall out. (Lobster bisque, lobster meat out of the shell, and Maine wild blueberry pie - Lobster in Bar Harbor is probably the best in the U.S. as it is excellent and they catch it right out of Frenchman's Bay - we usually have 4 dinners at that restaurant and the only thing I vary is switching back and forth with the lobster bisque and New England clam chowder. The views from the restaurant are also winderful.) I wish I had this car: http://biertijd.com/mediaplayer/?itemid=39089
  12. I think you really don't like A Game of Thrones. Either that or you don't want to read The Graveyard.
  13. Tonight we watched The Life of Pi. Choose which story you like best. I like the tiger story.
  14. Buttons and Bows Baby Its Cold Outside Mona Lisa
  15. Those Lazy Crazy Hazy Days of Summer - Nat king Cole
  16. Bye Bye Love Original - Everly Brothers Cover - Ray Charles (as much as I like the music by Ray Charles, I still prefer the Everly Brothers original)
  17. "March Madness" is well underway for the men. Women haven't started yet. (Sofia can explain)
  18. Hmmm, American Gods was the novel that I liked the least of his. All of the other books I loved, especially "The Graveyard", it was a great, great, story and the ending had me choked up. Chrissy - I read the story that you attached, "Down To A Sunless Sea", and it kinda puzzled me a little. Of course at my age many things confuse me. Off-topic - my granddaughter went "punting" in the Thames when she was 16 years old. LOL, I better not tell her how filthy the river is., or maybe she already knows.
  19. Sounds good. Something I would like.
  20. Beer For My Horses - Toby Keith & Willie Nelson
  21. Friends In Low Places - Garth Brooks
  22. LOL, and usually with a half cup of sugar in it.
  23. I thought it was pretty good. I really like Baggins character. Some of the dwarves are also good. The scenes in the mountains when fightning the Orcs were amazing.
  24. I watched The Hobbit tonight on TV.
