I've been reading The Shack since 29 October. It's okay but it's not making me think "I *must* pick this up to find out what happens next..." but if I stop now then I know I won't go back to it as I'm not very good at returning to books I've half-read. I've lost my ironing Mojo too - but I'm less concerned about that!

I must have watched The Railway Children (both the original version, and the more recent Attenborough version) about 125,327 times and I still cry every single time Bobby says... "Daddy! My Daddy!"

Tom was fabulous last night! Lisa was great too. Cherie was really good, but I'm not sure she deserved the same score - she wasn't as good as Tom. What happened to Austin though - he wasn't up to his usual standard?! John should go by rights, but I think that unless he's in the bottom two, then Heather will go. It's not John's fault - I understand that the judges are frustrated with him but the public need to stop voting for him now. I think he's good fun but if he stays then people who really deserve to be there will go instead.

I was horrified when it was announced that Catherine Tate would be in it as I'd only ever seen snippets of her as that dreadful 'bovvered' character, but she was absolutely awesome as Donna and I was gutted she was only in one series.

Haggis is quite peppery, but it's also quite nice. Monkfish is yummy! Andy - fancy a go on "I'm a Celeb"? I'm sure you're at least as famous as most of the contestants and you could have a go at witchety (sp?) grubs - amongst other things!

No, not at all - sorry. What I meant was that when he announced it, I didn't realise he was saying it for the first time. Not sure I'm explaining it very well. If it had been announced before then I wouldn't have known as I don't read any DW Spoilers on any forums I frequent, so he might have been just saying it, rather than announcing it for the first time. If that makes sense!

I was shocked - I didn't realise it was a 'spoiler' because I avoid the spoiler threads. I'm disappointed as he's fantastic as DW, but I was disappointed when Christopher Eccleston left too. Hopefully the replacement will be just as good. I wanted to see Tennant in Hamlet but the tickets sold out really quickly.
