Would it be The Household Guide to Dying? It's not specifically about a funeral, but it could be the one you're thinking of.

Yes, I do think it would be a good discussion book.. I've read a few reviews where people just haven't 'got' the book, if you know what I mean, but hopefully in a bookgroup that whole issue would be sensibly discussed. The majority seem to really like it.
