  1. 1) I joined the BCF when I was 10 ;)

    2) I absolutely loath maths but it's my strongest subject

    3) I live in Dover, but I wish I lived in the West Country

    4) I trip over nothing

    5) I'm actually really shy

  2. The latest one that caught my attention is Coldplay's

. When I saw it for the first time last night from halfway through, I resolved to see it all, even though I'm not a fan of the band's music. When I saw it from the start, I was pretty much blown away - it's unlike any other music vid out there at the moment - completely innovative!

I've seen that one (Dad's a devoted Coldplay fan).

  3. I'm the same, too, I have a lot of friends but I rarely talk in class unless I'm with my best BEST friends because I'm so shy. I don't bother with trying to be something I'm not, though, and my friends appreciate it. However, when I'm with my closest friends I'm OK and confident.

But hey, online and by text I'm really chatty:D

  4. 1) I'm allergic to penicillin

    2) I have Osgood Schlatter disease

    3) I have such weird joints I can't wear certain types of rings

    4) I'm really shy 9 out of 10 times, but when I get going I'm very confident.

    5) I have 2 very naughty but sweet little kittens

  5. Tiger.

I know, the freaky thing is that I stayed in a nearby manor literally next door to her haunting area, and walked near that place at night on our midnight walk, when I was 11 and didn't even have a clue!

  6. 1) Using the National Archives, Angel, my Dad and I have managed to trace back our family tree to as far back as the mid1800's, discovering lots of aunts, uncles and cousins, etc, we didn't have a clue about.

    2) I have really long, slightly thick but rarely unruly, brown hair.

    3) My school won a national award last year for Most Improved Specialist School

    4) I love to draw- if I've got a reader's block, I'll just sit and doodle for a while.

    5) There's a Grey Lady near where I live- there have been loads of car accidents where the drivers have tried to avoid her.

  7. I've read Haunted Places of Kent- I'll probably read it again in the time I've got it.

With spooky black and white photos, this was published in 2004 and the author went into thorough-research, looking around Kent and interviewing several people. It includes castles like Rochester, Dover and Hever, lots of pubs, and the most haunted village in England, Pluckley. Also includes cases like the Headless Drummer Boy in the battlements of Dover Castle, The Lady in Red in the Keep of Dover Castle, Anne Boleyn at Hever Castle and the Grey Lady of Oxney Bottom.

Really a good guide for Kentish people interested in the paranormal.

    My Rating: 8.5/10

Oh yeah, I'm still on the Henry VIII book

  8. I remember once having a book about Scottish hauntings and the ones in Aberdeen were the most chilling because I knew the places. Enjoy your ghosties, Tig!

Thanks Kell. I think the scarier ones are when you know the place, but haven't realised about the ghosts until you've read a ghost book! :hide:I'd heard about the Grey Lady before as a rumour at school, but when I read it and realised it was just down the road from where I stayed in my last week at primary school, I realised, "Oh my God". Now, whenever we're dropping the kittens off at the kennels or doing something else along that road, I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled. Same goes for Dover Castle, even though Angel and I have both felt something there already in the past.

I have to confess that I don't read a lot of horror. I enjoy when I do though, just leaves me looking over my shoulder.

LOL, same here, I don't think I'm gonna sleep after reading this!:D

Anyway, what I've looked at is quite good. Hever Castle- I never knew that was haunted (I've been there twice)

  9. From the library, only got one book out. Haunted Places of Kent by Rupert Matthews includes some cases very very close to where I live, like Dover Castle and a village called Oxney Bottom which includes a very scary ghost called the Grey Lady who haunts a roadside. Scary- at the end of Year Six, I stayed in a manor literally next door to there!

    Anyway, should keep me busy.

  10. I am! :D

My birthday's on the 29th of July, making me one of the youngest in year 11. I'm not even 16 yet, and mostly everyone else is. :)

Same here! Most of my friends are 14 now, but there's only 6 of my circle of friends, including me, who are 13, and I'm the youngest because I'm July 1st.
