Good I'm OK as far as things go at the moment. Last night I found out that my aunt is pregnant- I'm pleased that I'll have 8 cousins again (should be 9) and s/he is due in March. I'm not going to school tomorrow, we're putting Grandad's ashes away next to Katie all the way in Hastings. I'm dog tired- we got back from Cornwall at about 9 last night, hamster kept me asleep until nearly midnight!
I'm glad you're OK, seems a lot of people on here are having bad times.

Thanks Val
I really wish I had that long on a half term- five week days and the weekend is not enough! How long do you have off for Christmas? This year I have two and half weeks Aah well, it'll be Christmas before we know it!
(I really wish my hamster would be quiet- the kittens are trying to sleep, you can hear him in his wheel in my room, and that's upstairs, and tha cats are like, "what's that noise?" Just like my old cats used to do! )
So, what do you plan to do for the rest of the holiday, you lucky thing?
-
Only 11. It was a freak bicycle accident, she ruptured her liver after flying over the handlebars.
Unfortunately, no. My brother's school's off tomorrow, but my school is meant to be going back tomorrow, but because of what needs to be done, I have to take a day off.
Why, are you still on holiday?

I see my Gran tomorrow, too, we're gonna put my Grandad's ashes away next to Katie. I think it's a shame that Katie never knew she was going to have another brother/sister- she'd have loved a sister, having two brothers
Yup, you have a nice evening too!

Got back from Cornwall last night, and found out that my aunt is pregnant, the baby due in March. They're not sure if it's a boy or girl yet. I'm pleased that I'll have 8 cousins again (should be 9) but obviously we still miss Katie.
Anyway, in Cornwall, I saw seals, lots of big birds of prey, and even a couple of dolphins, nearly all of them spotted from my bedroom window. Last time I saw an otter in the River Tamar though.
So, what did you do?

My chair of governers is like that- his speaches= bored us, grumbling teachers/parents!
Unfortunately, the village we're staying in hasn't got a computer- and it hasn't even got phone service on there, so it won't be any use. So, yeah, no me until next Saturday or even Sunday!
Hope all goes well

Thanks Charm, it certainly is, what with my 11-year-old cousin and both of my old cats dying as well this year. Thank you. My brother and I have just found out that actually tomorrow morning we're going as no one's in the cottage at the moment. Can hardly wait! But it feels quiet without the kittens. Oh well, I've got the hamster down here for the other grandparents to feed while we're off.
I had my prize-giving this time last week! Does your daughter have a special guestperson apperearing to hand out the prizes? We had Danny Crates (Athens Paralympic Great Britain Gold Medal winner) art ours, last year we had Bob Champion.
So, how's your day been?
-
Good, good. Yeah, I break up tomorrow because the teachers have a training day- I usually love Saturday lie-ins, but I'm gonna have to drag myself out of bed at half 4 in the morning and unable to go back to sleep because of the seagulls and the sea! Oh well, need this holiday an awful lot.
Now I have Smudge falling asleep on me, and I can't type because he's on my arm, bless him.

Hope all goes well, Charm Did you have a nice time in Florida? I'd love to go there one day. We're (Angel and I) going to the far end of Cornwall... all the way from Dover! I also like the sound of the ghost trail holiday- I'd love to do something like that, just fortunate we have Dover Castle nearby. Have you ever been to Hampton Court Palace? They do good ghost tours apparently.
As I said, hope all goes well!

Bonjour- oiui, j'adore la masique- c'est genial! (Answer to your question: I'm so sorry, I don't remember how to reply to that, I'm so tired! )
J'ai joue foot, c'est barbant et nul. Je deteste!

Hey Kirsty! Sorry to hear about your back, hope it's feeling better now. Yes, they're my new kittens- this year we lost both of our ancient (16 and 17 years old) cats, and these ones are boys called Smudge and Stewie, 16/17 weeks old so adoreable!
Me? Well, it hasn't been an easy year- as I said, we've lost both cats, my 11-year-old cousin was killed in a freak bike accident in July and exactly two weeks ago we lost my grandad, whose ashes will be put next to Katie (my cousin)
Ayway, enough about me, how about you?
