  1. I love Snape and I don't think he's evil either. Dumbledore was a wise man. I hope he isn't really dead either, but everyone else that died in the books is still dead. Unless, Dumbledore had some plan as it has been mentioned above and he isn't really dead?
  2. They sound great Sarah, I'm looking forward to what you think about them. Think I'll read the Constant Gardener next.
  3. Well I went up to get Mary Higgins clark or/and James herbert, but eneded up with The Constant Gardener ~ John le Carre and Where Rainbows end ~ Cecelia Ahern. (have wanted Cecelia's book for ages!) Both cost me just 99p from a shop that sells 2nd hand books. I'm very happy.
  4. I didn't like this book, and gave up on it. Although it may of been because there was other books I wanted to read more. So may borrow it from my sister again when I have nothing to read.
  5. I absolutely loved this book, I laughed and laughed while reading it. I finished it in 3 days which is quick for me lol.
  6. Hi Angel, I'm looking forward to getting it tomorrow now. Trying to get through POTW tonight, I am a bit disappointed in this book, it is a chore to read in places. Have read 433 pages of it and have about 230 pages to go and still nothings happened But will finish it before I move onto a another one.
  7. Thanks hun, I think I will definitely get a Mary Higgins Clark Book tomorrow. I'm going for 'No place like Home'. Not sure I'll like it but will give it ago.
  8. Who would you go for sarah?
  9. I'm going to get her BM trilogy too, as you've said it was great. Tomorrow I'm off to get two books, but can't decoided whether I should stick to just one author for now or mix them? I'm thinking of getting either; James herbert Mary Higgins Clark Virgina Andrews Dean Koontz James patterson But decisions decisions!! LOL
  10. Well atm I'm reading Priestess of the White by Trudi Canavan, I started this book ages ago but stopped half way through to have a break. TBH at first I thought I'd found the perfect author for me, as the book started off great but, as I have got through it I have realised I don't connect with the main Character Auraya. I prefer some of the other characters in the book. I'm just over half way through it as I picked it up again the other day, and am going to try and finish it soon. I am enjoying a bit more, but still think this Auraya character is boring atm.
  11. LOL well I hated reading as a child and never really took it up till a few years ago. But the books I remember as a child were Stig of the Dump and the Peter and Jane books.
  12. I never used to be as my sons were always reading, that was before they got a PC. I used to be amazed at how much they read and wished I had the enthusiasm too. Now I'm the main reader and loving it. Also i got my 9 year old into reading and he can read books faster than me
  13. I read this one and thought it was really good.
  14. Lion Witch and the Wardrobe is a kids book, and I found it pretty basic. Although I do love the book.
