  1. Harvest, by Tess Gerritsen Another enjoyable book from Ms Gerritsen. Abby diMatteo, a resident in a hospital in Boston found out that there was some foul play involved in the allocation of donor organs. She embarks on an investigation, which costs her dearly, when she uncovers secrets that she never imagined in her wildest dreams.
  2. The Girl who kicked the Hornet's nest, by Stieg Larsson The last book in the Trilogy, it continues where the previous one leaves off. I think this will be liked better by people who have read no2, because of the background information. I enjoyed it, and feel quite sad that there will not be any more Lisbeth Salander stories. One of the things I enjoyed about these books is because they are set in Sweden, and almost all of the books I have read have been set in UK or (mostly) in USA.
  3. That's good to hear. I'm ok thanks. Today we have started summer hours at work, so we finish an hour earlier. :)

  4. Mer has never been my fav character. I love Bailey - she is sooo great, and Alex, and Lexie too I must say. Christina is so cold, but I loved the way they show her vulnerable side sometimes....it is all the more touching. Stayed till 1am watching this last night!
  5. Happy birthday Mia! :balloons:

  6. Happy birthday Tiger! XX

  7. Have you tried the first Scarpetta Novels by Patricia Cornwell?
  8. Allende is not easy to read - you have to be in the right frame of mind IMO.
  9. I agree! I am missing Lisbeth, and would have loved another book! I read 2 and 3, and really enjoyed both. One thing that I loved about these books is the insight to the Swedish way of life.
  10. You are tempting me with Purple Hibiscus, although my tbr pile is resembling a tbr column.......
  11. Neither have I. Want to do it one day Never have I ever ridden an elephant.

  13. Happy birthday! :balloons:

  14. The Girl who played with Fire by Stieg Larsson. This is the second book in a Trilogy, but true to form, it's the first one I read It is a fast paced thriller, featuring a 22 yrd old girl (Lisbeth Salander) as the main character. Although she is portrayed as a too-good-to-be-true macho machine, the story was still fun to read, and I could not put the book down. Will definately read the next one!
  15. Happy birthday June :balloons:

  19. Zumii I love your reading list. Read and loved a lot of these titles, and have some on my TBR pile. Have never tried some of the authors though, and I might try them, seeing as how you read a lot of books that I enjoy.

  23. It is confusing, and I never knew that the publishers can actually choose the title. I thought that was the author's prerogative.
