  1. o thank you alot michelle :) do you have any idea?

I haven't read any Patricia Cornwell, but I know a few here have, so someone should help soon. In the meantime, you could take a look at her site.. http://www.patricia-cornwell.com

As for James Patterson, I think I've read one or two, and I have no idea if they are in a certain order. This might help.. http://www.jamespatterson.com/books_readingOrder.html

  2. Thanks for the suggestion!

I was pleasantly surprised with Blue Dahlia.. it helps that there's a ghost story in it, but the characters were good. I'll be reading the rest of the trilogy, and then picking up a few more of hers. :)

Mamacita sent me some books from her conference, so I have even more of the TBR pile now!

  3. This is a new author I've come across.. I picked up Sabriel in a bookshop on holiday, and it wasn't until I started reading that I realised it was classed as a children's book.

I have started it, but didn't get too far before I chose my library book instead, but I do plan on going back to it. It does, however, appear to include quite scary content for a child?

Any other fans of this author? What are his other books like?

  4. Nora seems to write books at a phenomenal rate, and sadly, in my eyes, that showed in her latest JD Robb book, Born In Death. Apart from Mavis's baby, it was extremely similar to previous books, with nothing to make it stand out.

Has anyone found this so with her other books? Do you think they've suffered being published so quickly?

  5. I decided to take a look at my library's offerings, and decided on 'Blue Delia'. I shall let you know how I get on with it.

Which is the first one in the three sisters trilogy? I have a feeling I looked at the first of these today.. but I could be wrong!

  6. My Lover's Lover did turn out to be a good book.. I found myself reading it super fast, because I wanted to know what the big 'secret' was! This author has quite a distinctive way of writing.. I think you'd either like it or hate it.

Born In Death was a disappointment. In a way I enjoy them, because it's like sitting down with an old friend, but my feeling here is that Nora is churning books out too quickly. :)
