  1. It's funny, but I didn't like reading as a kid. Everything seemed boring to me... But now I'm making up for lost time!
  2. If you want to keep your peace of mind, it's better to avoid relationships like that.
  3. Oh, I read 'The Secrets of Blythswood Square' by Sara Sheridan. I really liked how the author creates an atmosphere of mystery and intrigue. The plot flows easily and logically, and you feel drawn into the story right from the first pages.

After your comment, I'm really intrigued. This fall, I’ve been drawn to tragedies, if you know what I mean.
  6. I've heard about this book! For a while, I wanted to read it. I'm glad I didn't!
  7. This Love — Maroon 5
  8. It's difficult to surmise what Wittkop is exploring as a theme here, perhaps loneliness, the outsider, or just those with a perversion so dark that it cannot be discussed openly. I must admit, the fact that she is a woman also gives the book a unique feel. Maybe it shouldn't but it did. There's always an added salaciousness when such sexual deviancy is in the hands of a woman and, for all I know, that may have been the point she was ultimately making. Hard to say. But the book was very readable and occasionally even reached heights of sincere beauty. An odd little novella. Very good but approach with (some) caution. 8/10 I love books that are written in a diary style. It's like you're sneaking into something you shouldn't!
  9. I just finished reading Remarque's 'Spark of Life.' It was a tough read, but I'm totally in love with Remarque's writing.
  10. "Autumn Crime" by Anders de la Motte. is a great choice for fall reading. It’s full of emotional conflicts and unexpected twists.
  11. Black Magic Woman - Santana
  12. He implies that if the story didn’t resonate, maybe there’s something 'off' with the reader. That can definitely sound a bit harsh.
  13. Oh, I definitely prefer the second painting; it's amazing! But why don't you try working on bigger canvases?

  15. Army Dreamers - Kate Bush
  16. I'm currently reading 'Ham on Rye'. It's a difficult read, but captivating because you see the protagonist developing, learning how to survive and not break.
  17. Moon River - Andy Williams
  18. 'The Power of Habit' by Charles Duhigg. I also have 'Love of Life' by Jack London on my desk. I felt like going back to the classics - there's just something timeless about them that really resonates.
  19. A pretty captivating and multi-layered book that left a strong impression
  20. I usually skip over those kinds of scenes in books. I think they're unnecessary fluff.
  21. This is one of those books where you can picture everything clearly from the very first pages. Yeah, he writes really easily, but every word is right where it should be. There's no fluff—every dialogue and every detail matters.
  22. "Silver, Blue & Gold" - Bad Company
  23. A Sky Full of Stars - Coldplay
  24. Whiskey Girl-Toby Keith
