My father's cousin went into their family genealogy in great detail and had it published, sending my father a copy of the quite thick booklet. It was very interesting. I'm curious about my mother's side but absolutely terrified of finding out because her immediate family were very difficult and there is an inherited disease that causes physical and mental disability. Sixteen Tons was a favourite of my father's when I was a child (I wasn't born anywhere near 1955, for the record) and I know all the words. I've also heard of a few more and would probably recognise them all if I heard them. You can't beat a good song and while I do have my preferences I do appreciate a wide range of music.
