    Hi.

Good, I am new to the site and now have a small pile of books I want to read. So it's starting to work for me. I want to read things that are out of my comfort zone. Have you decided what your next book will be? You've done the right thing signing up here.q
  4. Hi Chris. That sounds interesting, so it is certainly on my to read list. When I read what entered then Judge Dredd come straight to mind.
  5. Hi Chesilbeach. Thanks for writing. I have finished the book now, I enjoyed it. One of the reasons I joined was because I read the same type of books all the time and this book is certainly one that I would have read otherwise.
  6. Throughout the book my favourite character would have been Harold or Queenie. I saw a vulnerable side to both of them and i found them easily relatable especially when reading about their past. After I had finished the book I think the underdog and my faviourite was Maureen. In the beginning I just thought of her as someone who was bitter and stuck in their own selfish ways. When the twists and turns of the book had finished I thought this woman had suffered. her tale was tragic and she was more than likely suffering from depression and in the end beating it. she became the hero in my eyes. Sure Harold suffered and had his journey but Maureen was a constant with her battle to lose her home comforts and moving on from the loss of her son. The book itself was an easy read and stayed on one level throughout. I personally would never pick up a book like this but I am glad that I read it. The pain expressed by the main characters have actually made me empathized with people in my own life. I have enjoyed the book and i look forward to next months book 3/5

  9. I agree. I love the movie and it is often my hangover movie. I read the book and was left disappointed
  10. I love reading Harry Potter. It is cliche but I love leaving behind any troubles and escaping into the world of magic. I do also enjoy reading a book that can help me relate to the problem. Do you have any other books that have helped you through dark times?
  11. I loved the Notebook, I will have to buy this book

  15. Hi Guys! I'm a new member. I'm mainly here for some inspiration on what to read next. I have just started the Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry and I am so far enjoying it. Hoping to meet some nice people and hopefully expand my narrow mind and open my eyes to some new books.
