Who did Adam Brody play in GG?
-
That sounds interesting. I would love to hear how you like it!

I'm lucky and am almost never stressed about anything, so the only emotion I have going into this reading year is excitement. I have high expectations for my year Thank you! I have a small windowto finish them in but that's just more motivation to stick with my reading Thank you!! It should be a good one Thank you. I'm excited about those reads as well. Most of them will probably be read in the first quarter of this year. Thank you! Same to you!

Since I already signed up for the free month of Kindle Unlimited, I figured I would take advantage and download some books that have been on my wishlist for awhile. I'm glad I could find some among the limited number of Kindle Unlimited books Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen Casino Royale by Ian Fleming Life of Pi by Yann Martel The Giver by Lois Lowry 1984 by George Orwell Also if I decide that I liked Casino Royale in time, the rest of the James Bond series is on there. I guess it won't be a complete waste that I signed up for the free month

I'm at 91% of Wuthering Heights but I'm waaayyy too tired to finish it out tonight. I'll finish it tomorrow (later today ) so my first read of 2015 will be finished on January 1st. Already setting a great pace

Yes Tristan is in One Tree Hill. I didn't know that GG was before OTH. I was a OTH fan before I started Gilmore Girls so when I went back and watched older episodes with Tristan I was surprised that he was on there

Best wishes on your reading this year! Enjoy!
-
So many great books ahead for you this year Hope you the best and a great reading year

If you're going to plan on reading another Jodi Picoult early this year, I recommend Nineteen Minutes especially because I know you enjoyed The Pact. I love looking at the pictures of your shelves. It's interesting to look at the colors of the books. Like the fantasy ones are dark or red, but then there is the chicklit shelves that are all yellow, white, and other bright pastel colors. The graphs are BEAUTIFUL. I love stats and graphs, so your book log is always so pretty Have a fantastic reading year!!

Oh my you HAVE TO READ Marley & Me. It made me refall in love with books when I was in like fifth grade. Then again I was in fifth grade, so my judgement might not be great Hope you have a great reading year!!
-
You have a ton of interesting reads on your TBR! I hope you are able to get to a lot of them this year. I'm sure replacing the ones read won't be a problem Good luck and happy reading this year!!
-
I am really enjoying it, but I also happen to like vile and evil characters because it sparks a curiosity for how they got that way. I'm 70% done according to kindle, so I might not have all the facts but

You have so many interesting reads planned for yourself!! I hope you have a great reading year I've looked at the 50 most challenging reads list before but I never noticed that Johnny Got His Gun was on there. I read the blurb about that book a couple days ago and was really intrigued. Maybe I will have to buy and read it now

Wow that is pretty cool. Such a nice little touch to add that before every episode. So sad that he's gone now
-
Wow! Amazing Year!! 254 books in one year is quite a feat, congratulations! You're so organized in your stats, I wish I was as organized
-
That's so sad I always wondered why season after season when his name appeared in the opening credits/theme song that it said special appearance by. Does anyone know?
-
Yep that's the one! I'll definitely let you know how it goes. I was thinking that would be the case with Harry Potter. Somewhat mindless reading and it will be nice to refresh my memory on the plot. It was 8 or 9 years ago that I read the first few for the first time.

** A lot of these posts are old, but I just caught up reading this thread and there was a lot I wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed that book; like all her books, it really made me think. I do agree that the second half was very different, but I enjoyed that part too GoT takes FOREVER to get through, but its so worth it. Not a single page of the probably 4,000+ is boring. Hope you like(d) it!! This is my dad's favorite book and he does the same thing every year. I think I might adopt this tradition I hope you liked Looking for Alaska!!!! It was my favorite of his books, which is hard considering I love them all I agree about TFIOS, it was not great in my opinion. The story was good, characters were good, but it just didn't do it for me. I prefer the other three that I've read (Looking for Alaska, Paper Towns, and An Abundance of Katherines) I'm reading Wuthering Heights for the first time as well! I've been wanting to reading it for a long time and I finally motivated myself to do it. I hope you're enjoying it!
-
Hopefully I will have finished Wuthering Heights by time the read-a-thon rolls around. If so, I plan on reading a Jodi Picoult short story I got for free on my kindle. After that I will probably be reading Picoult or Grisham books. If I can get to the libary, I've been wanting to re-read Harry Poter so this might be a great time to start.
-
You will LOVE Paper Towns and I think you will enjoy Looking for Alaska as well because I know you really enjoyed An Abundance of Katherines. Hope you have a great reading year!!
-
I love reading these stories! Mine has a small backstory. When I got to high school there was another freshman with the same first and middle name (Becca Lynn), so I have been called BSchultz for 4 years now. And 19 is my favorite hockey player's number

Love the photo! There's something beautiful about a stack of books The memoirs of Harry S. Truman looks very interesting. Curious to hear how you like it when you get around to it.
-
You have so many books! Where do you keep them all? Looks like some interesting reads for the year, hope you have a great reading year!!
-
That would be nice

Just bought three new books today. I guess technically it doesn't count as 2015, but close enough The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult The Pelican Brief by John Grisham
