Fev
BBC The Big Read Top 100 Books How many of these have you read? Which do you agree / disagree with? Obviously nobody listed here yet but is there actually anyone out there who has read the entire list? I'm about halfway through [3 years and counting] and just wondered how much longer I can expect to still be at it [even disregarding all the other terrific books that keep distracting me from my task!] Even a vague idea of how long it has taken someone else would be good haha. willoyd
I've finished 55 of them, with one or two others incomplete. I'm unlikely to ever read the full list, not least because several books are by Jacqueline Wilson, and having read a couple of them, that's two too many. (I've no intention of reading any more Terry Pratchett either, but could at least contemplate the prospect if required).

What's even better is that there are only a few books from Frankie's list that don't overlap with mine. Now I'm very curious, I'm going to go and check your list. I feel like a stalker now, since I was the latter one to join the forum! Edit: Clever girl, you've not listed yours! But going through my list and remembering what I know you've read, it does seem like our lists are freakisly similar Edited March 30, 2011 by frankie

Nali
I have managed to get 1/3 of the list down, still so many to go! I don't agree on the list either, like some of you. I think it's not a well thought out list, but I'm going to keep at it anyways! This is how far I've come: BBC The Big Read - my list
rider1994
Numbers 65 and 52 should definitely be a lot higher. Mort is a fantastic book and really does do Terry Pratchett justice It truly is amazing! Of mice and Men is even better, it's sad, gripping tale of American migrant workers really moved me BBC I've lost respect for you after seeing that list although I do agree with No.1 on the list
