      March Supporter Giveaway   03/02/2019

So March has crept up on us and I'm thrilled to finally show you the GREAT (he he...) March giveaway!     This time we have a gorgeous print of The Great Gatsby's most famous line from thestorygift.co.uk AND a Great Gatsby tea from the Literary Tea Company! This particular tea is Peach Blossom (which sounds delicious and I kind of wish I could keep it myself...) and the tin features another Gatsby quote.  If you'd like to see the other literary teas available (there are lots, I spent ages looking) you can find them both at the Literary Tea Company's etsy store (https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/LiteraryTeaCompany) or at their own website, theliteraryteacompany.co.uk .   As always, supporters are automatically entered into the giveaway and if you're not a supporter but want to be included in this months giveaway you can become a supporter on patreon here... https://www.patreon.com/bookclubforum .   A winner will be chosen at random on the last day of the month. Good luck!

Beloved of buskers everywhere!

I had to google the word 'busker'. I confess I don't know for sure what you mean! :D Do you mean a lot of buskers play that Oasis song I mentioned? I don't think I've ever heard it played by a busker. Then again, it's colder over here and so maybe we have fewer buskers over here. Interesting!

Epica's my favourite band. Epica's singer, Simone Simons, likes Ghost and has mentioned them at times. I checked out Ghost, found the song "He is" which really spoke to me. I did some research, found out it was written in honour of Selim Lemouchi, who took his life nearly four years ago. That's how I "discovered" his band The Devil's Blood. I really quite like their music and am now listening to:

I will confess that I don't know the Godfather theme song  Or maybe I do know the song, I just don't know that it's that song. I have to google now :D   I love learning new stuff!!

Edit: Oh yes, I do know the song! Didn't know it was the theme song. I'm now more wordly! :D

I'm seeing Kamelot at a festival this Summer and am seeing them in Tilburg in September for the concert where they will record their DVD. I don't know many songs by them, so I'm getting to know them a bit. I really like Citizen Zero, Ravenlight, Liar Liar, The Haunting - and this one, Sacrimony, is my favourite so far.

I can't stop listening to Born To Die (album) by Lana Del Ray at the moment. I only just bought it even though it's a bit old now. Such a great album.

I've been on the look out for some new music recently and came across this cover of Crazy and I just have to keep listening to it.
