  1. I agree with this totally, even though I buy most books online.
  2. I buy most of my books from ebay and use paypal which is a secure way of paying for your purchases.
  3. Oh goody, I hope it's on in the UK soon...love it!
  4. Thanks, I'm sure I will, there's not many I haven't liked so far. And now I'll be reading the Silver Brumby ones too lol. And I haven't read My Friend Flicka yet and Misty of Chincoteague sounds intruiging...
  5. I'm like that! I read about places more than travel to them.
  6. Yes you're right, it is K M Peyton. I'll definately be giving the Flambards books a go.
  7. Yeah, that is a classic and very sad
  8. Does anyone here like reading pony books? I enjoy them and my favourite authors include the Pullein-Thompson sisters, Monica Dickens and the Follyfoot books, Primrose Cumming, Ruby Ferguson and the Jill books and I've just read National Velvet for the first time.
  9. I don't lend my books out to anyone....I'm a meany.
  10. Wow! Your books must be prestine! I'm impressed I read in the afternoons or evenings lying on my bed and there must be total silence or I can't concentrate. I don't usually eat or drink anything while reading.
  11. Born reader, always had my nose stuck in a book. I used to spend all my pocket money on books.
  12. I usually read one book at a time but occasionally I'll have two on the go at once.
  13. One book a week on average but I like to read everyday as it's a great stress buster for me.
  14. My first job was working with horses as a groom. I've done loads of diffrent types of jobs since then and now I'm back to working with horses again.
  15. Any excess books I buy go into the bookcase and I pick them out as and when the mood takes me. I can't bear the thought of having no new books to read in my bookcase though...I'd get withdrawal symptoms and have to rush off to the nearest bookshop or charity shop.
