  1. Thanks for you kind words Nici. I have been in a lot of pain and whilst he cant cure it, the chiropracter has brought about a great deal of relief. Your interest in spiritulism interests me, as I am quite susceptible to "auras", I get feelings about places. I can often read people's minds too. I am not that clever though.

  6. Hi Madcow, sorry to hear about the horsefly bite. I have had 2 of those when holidaying in Paxos, Ionian Islands. They are pretty ghastly I know. Hope you will be over it very soon. BTW, the Greeks deal with by just wiping the blister thing off with a piece of clean cloth!!!! Done before I could say "ow"! No antibiotics needed after that.

  8. I always enjoy reading the times. I read most of it, just skip over the Business pages. I like reading the obituaries and the weather pages. I usually miss out the sport pages. But I love Times 2, read that from end to end every day and then do the puzzles, - sudoku, codeword and the crossword. Brilliant.

  12. I aim to drag my husband down there, probably next year. I went to Cornwall with my parents (many moons ago) and also with my first husband. Its a great county.

  13. We have just had thunderstorms this evening, which have moved eastwards and now we can see just the lightening, so someone else is getting it over Brighton way. Been a good day today

  22. I usually read 2 or 3 chapters a day, but of course this could be more if the chapters are short.
  23. Being given a lovely illustrated book of poems for children.
