poppy
What a great quiz! I've always been hopeless with cryptic crosswords and the only ones I've answered are very obvious (and most probably wrong!) 10. Potatoes (1) - Spud by John van de Ruit 12. Beaming brightly (2) - The Shining by Stephen King 16. Un homme stranded here? (2) - Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe
Kylie
I thought of Spud too, Poppy, but I don't know it as a book title. I just couldn't think of anything else! The only one I can get is probably the most obvious one there: 9. All about an overgrown garden (3): The Secret Garden
poppy
The Secret Garden - of course Kylie! I was originally thinking of The Spuddy by Lilian Beckwith, which I do know, then realised it's two words. Spud is probably wrong because it says 'potatoes' plural.
