vodkafan
Hi Isandriena, I hadn't heard of any of the books in your already read list, what genres are they? I see you also don't mind dumping a book if it fails to grab you.
Isandriena
All the ones I red apart from Wildthorn are about vampires. The Basement and the runaway I would say are crime thrillers, very good though. Dating a cougar, dr notorious and a saint ones are kinda romance ones I suppose but they are about older women rather than young women in relationships and trying to figure their lives out. I didn't want to read a book I want enjoying when I could be reading one I like. I was really disappointed in it. The first one in the mortal instruments series was really really good, but the second one wasn't as good and the third one was just unreadable for me. Just didn't want to waste my time with it really. Are there any books that you would suggest that are about vampires or in the crime thriller genres? Sorry Isandriena I don't (or haven't up to now) read anything in those two genres but now you have asked that you will most likely get lots of recommendations from others on here. I agree about giving up on books you don't like. So much other stuff out there to read!
Isandriena
Never mind! What kind of genres do you read them? I want to start reading different types of books outside what I normally read cos I'd like to read something new.
vodkafan
Me? I read scifi, biographies of people that interest me, anything Victorian, Jane Austen, anything by Jack Vance, books about science or history and anything that gets recommended a lot here in reviews I usually get interested in. Isandriena
Oh right. I have a few Jane Austen books on my iBooks, tried reading one but I think the language is quite hard to get a grip on.
