Jhorton Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I'm looking for my next literary fix and was hoping someone could recommend a book along the lines of a Michael Crichton or Tom Clancy novel. Thanks! Quote
Raven Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Clive Cussler? It's been a while since I read either Clancy or Crichton, but I think his books are in a similar mould (action/adventure with a high-concept theme). Quote

I've never read any of his books before, so I will take a look, thank you! I noticed your Dr. Who avatar, everyone in my family loves the series! I've watched it since I was a boy. We can't wait for the next season! Quote
BigWords Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Area 7 by Matthew Reilly. You won't be disappointed. Quote

Tis good stuff, and I hear BBC America (if you get it) are showing the Christmas episode on Christmas Day. Quote
Jhorton Posted November 23, 2010 Author Posted November 23, 2010 My family likes Dr. Who so much that I added a digital tier to our cable just so we could get BBCA and watch The Doctor, he's awesome! Quote
thizzy85 Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Out of the two authors I've only read Clancy's Rainbow 6. I would recommend reading it if you haven't already. The Apocalypse Watch by Robert Ludlum was a good read as well. Same author as the Bourne series. Excellent thriller. Quote
