Katrina1968 Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 He is a Native American writer of renown, from children to adults. I absolutely LOVED The Absolutely True Tails Of A Part-time Indian. I actually like to push this book at the bookshoppe because I fell in love with it. Quote
Nollaig Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 I have The Lone Ranger & Tonto Fistfight In Heaven in my possession, the book upon which one of my favourite indie movies is based. I've only read a few short stories from it so far, but I love it already. And the film is amazing. Quote
Katrina1968 Posted June 2, 2010 Author Posted June 2, 2010 Funny you should mention that particular book. I saw parts of the movie about a week ago! I really enjoyed it but I feel asleep. I was ticked off that such a good movie was being shown at 0230 in the morning:motz: Now I have to try and track it down to rent or purchase. The movie is called Smoke Signal. I started Reservation Blues last week and plan to finish it this week. Quote
