rachel23 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Hey everyone, I'm looking for something new to read. Last Summer I read The Time Traveller's Wife, and I absolutely loved it, and haven't managed to find anything as good since! I've read Lovely Bones and thought it was amazing I read alot of Marian Keye's but also like classics. I'm not a big fan of Austen but absolutely loved Rebecca by Daphne DuMaurier. I'm looking for something good that's a little bit more serious than Marian Keyes with a bit of an edge and preferably a little bit of romance. Can anyone recommend anything new?x Quote
Chrissy Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Marge Piercy's 'Gone To Soldiers' is a brilliant read. I read and loved TTTW, and I love this one. It is so well written, with an intriguing and compeeling story line/s. Quote
ClaireD Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 How about Captain Corelli's Mandolin? Quote
