runner Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 Just finished the above book and it was amazing crime but with a gothic/horror overtones This is the first John Connolly book I have read and have just picked up another from the library Badmen which I propose to start reading later.It is always fantastic to discover a new author and then to buy and read all his books. This was such an easy and fast read...a joy to while away the hours... Quote
pickle Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 I loved it as you know and heartily recommend all his others, all are very dark in the Charlie Parker series as is The Book of Lost Things his new one the gates is less so but still a good read. Have yet to read Noctures if anyone has let me know what its like. Quote
