How many of you have read Reginald Hill's books about Dalziel and Pascoe detectives?

I have just finished reading Ruling Passion. This was, like all his books a terrific read. I have also read, A Cure for all Diseases, A Clubable Woman, A Pinch of Snuff,On Beulah Height,The Death of Dalziel.

He has written about 25 of these books so I have lots to look forward to yet.

By the way, for those that don't know, Dalziel is a scots name pronounced Dee-el. Although Andy Dalziel is Yorkshire born with Scots roots.

Hello. I've read and enjoyed a few Dalziel and Pascoe stories and have recently finished 'The Woodcutter' by Reginald Hill; a non-D&P crime story and well worth a read

Just saw that he passed away last month:

I have read some of his 'stand-alone' novels and enjoyed them very much. Thank you for the link to his Guardian obituary Karsa, it sounds like he was a lovely person as well as a great novelist.

I love Reginald Hill. Admittedly, I've only read 2 of his books, The Stranger House and The Woodcutter. But I've loved them both. :D
