MrsM
I have taken great pleasure in writing down all the books I have read for the last 10 years or so. So imagine my pleassure when I discovered this website!! After studying for a large part of 2008 and 2009 (but not having curbed my book buying habit!) I have fallen behind on my reading. Well here goes...here is my 2010 reading blog...

vodkafan
Mrs M I noticed that only one of your books this year has hit the spot for you (5/5). Are you quite a critical reader or is it just bad luck?
MrsM
I don't think I'm being overly critical with my scoring - I just think that book have to be great in many different ways to 'earn' 5/5!!

vodkafan
I will be interested to read waht you think of the Zadie Smith book. I haven't read any of hers but I read one critic who said she was a one-trick pony.
MrsM
I will be interested to read waht you think of the Zadie Smith book. I haven't read any of hers but I read one critic who said she was a one-trick pony. Just finished 'On Beauty' by Zadie Smith. I really enjoyed it but I think a lot of it was down to the fact I work in a university and this is where the majority of the book it set! I've read White Teeth as well but that was ages ago so I can't remember is they were that similar.
