Vladd Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Anyone read this? Its a book that is meant to be have written by Richard Castle, a character played by Nathan Fillion in the series Castle. As crime stories go it's not too bad, to be honest I have read worse. There are little details in the book that only mean anything if you have seen the series, but it does stand alone too. A good buy for fans of Castle but worth a look if you want an undemanding read. Quote
AbielleRose Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I am a huge Castle fan but am a little on the fence about buying the book. Maybe I'm just too picky but it struck me as more of a publicity stunt than a good literary work. In time I'll probably read it out of curiosity and because I love the series. Quote
Kell Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Coincidentally, I just found out about this book last night from my hubby and I fully intend to get hold of it as I love the show and I think this could be a fun read. Quote
lexiepiper Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 This has been on my wishlist for a while, I love Castle and can imagine it being a fun read Quote
Vladd Posted March 9, 2010 Author Posted March 9, 2010 Good news for British Castle Fans http://uktv.co.uk/alibi/homepage/sid/8203 Quote
Univerze Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Ahh, I love Castle. Though honestly, I wonder how much of that is me loving Nathan Fillion. Love love love the guy, ever since Firefly, and I think even before *imdb's*, ahh yes even before, I loved him as Caleb in Buffy. Awesomeness. Anyway, don't know about the book then, I mean.. it's Castle, not Nathan. Might read it some day though.. Quote
arewenearlythere Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Seriously...a Richard Castle Book. It never occured to me! Marketing Genious! Quote
Alder Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 I love the show, but I've seen about a chapter from the book, and wasn't terribly impressed...wish they'd got a better ghost-writer to be 'Castle'! Still, if I see it second-hand anywhere, there's a good chance I'll pick it up... Quote
