arewenearlythere Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I'm such a big fan of the real hustle, and it's on tv tonight (BBC - 9pm, have a watch, it's about an elite con group who pull great stunts!) Also, everyone keeps going on about Glee - I haven't seen it yet, is it worth a gander? What's people's views on it? x Quote
Nollaig Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 There's a thread about Glee here if you want to read people's thoughts about it. Quote
~Andrea~ Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I always feel that The Real Hustle is a bit double-edged. It's supposed to show people scams to stop them falling for them, but at the exact same time it teaches people how to do them Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I always feel that The Real Hustle is a bit double-edged. It's supposed to show people scams to stop them falling for them, but at the exact same time it teaches people how to do them For example: there was one where they were scamming people in car parks abroad, collecting money for parking that wasn't the official tickets, and I was thinking that I could have easily done that, if I'd had no moral fibre People might just be watching to get tips Although I do like the programme Quote
ned Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Good show, i like the tricks they do in the bar or the celebrity challenge Quote

arewenearlythere Posted January 20, 2010 Author Posted January 20, 2010 I meant Hustle but I also love watching The Real Hustle...whoops! (and I call myself a fan?!) Thanks for the review, I read today that Glee did extremely well at The Golden Globes. I may do a bit of ondemanding, although, I find that channel4/od can't reach the quality that bbc iplayer provide - I tried watching a documentary four times and it just kept freezing and stopping (maybe my computer though - anyone else with problems?) Also, has anyone seen 'Legally Blonde' the musical? I keep reading rave reviews! x Quote

Are box sets available of previous seasons? Did you see the Kylie episode?! Great! I've seen bits 24 - but never in a straight order, so never really got into it because by the time I watched it again so much has happened I couldn't keep up! I'm definitely into Ugly Betty though. You can buy boxsets online, play.com tend to do great offers, seasons 1-5 with free delivery, hope it helps! x Quote
