Charm
My second ever reading blog! I'd never done it before last year and found it to be really helpful and loved people popping in with suggestions! I managed to read 60 books in 2009, which is a personal best for me. I hope to hit the 70 mark this year, but if I match last year I'll be delighted. I'm also going to try to write my thoughts better on the books that I've read, while reading back on my last blog, I found it quite insightful! Again, if anyone wishes to comment, you would be most welcome and any recommendations are gratefully received. Edited January 1, 2011 by Charm changing current read, to current read! lol

frankie
Your own reading blog's finally set up! I was especially glad to see Chelsea Cain's Heartsick on the list as well as Laurell K Hamilton's Guilty Pleasures (that must've been catwoman's doing ). I didn't see Ann Rule's The Stranger Beside Me on your list though. And I do remember you wanting to perhaps check it out. So I thought I'd remind you of this great true crime novel, as it is really fantastic, one of my favorite reads last year. My thoughts on the novel are here in post #125, as well as your thoughts regarding my thoughts. Oh, and if you'll later realise you needed more puppies I'll be happy to delete this post Happy reading 2010 Charm
Kell
Hope you enjoy the Kelley Armstrong books. Have you already read the other Women of the Otherworld novels? (I think I read that you had, but I'm half asleep now and can't remember for sure).

Peacefield
Excellent lists, Charm! My friend was talking to me the other night about this Laurell K Hamilton, and saying that I might like them. I'm curious to see what you think, Charm! Oh, and that same friend, I gave her my copy of Bitten and she's reading it now - hopefully she gets hooked on Armstrong too . I hope you enjoy Angels & Demons. It's by far my fave Brown. I'm hoping to read the Heretic's Daughter one of these days too, and I'm so glad to see The Shining on your list! Hands down, it's one of my top books of all time . Miles above the movie too, btw (but don't tell Rawr I said that, LOL).

I'll also keep my eye out in case you get read her first to see your thoughts! I'm sure you're friend will love The Women of the Otherworld series. I've been trying to convince my friend to read them too, she refuses at the minute as I recommended the Sookie books to her and she lost a couple of weeks until she had the lot read! She doesn't want that to happen just at the minute. Mind you, kookie bought her the first 3 in the Twilight series for xmas, while I got her Breaking Dawn. She's seen the films and is definately going to read the books ... just not til everything's back to normal, she doesn't want to lose another fortnight just yet! I hope you enjoy Angels & Demons. I was even talking to my OH this morning about places we'd like to visit, I'd love to go see Salem, Boston, Massachusetts (sp?) and the New England area. I'm always on the lookout for other books on this subject matter as well. I heard also that Howe is planning a sequel eventually to the Deliverance Dane book so that's something to look forward to! You must visit Salem and Boston, and the whole New England area - it's the best! So much US history to see there. I only spent 1 day in Salem and 2 in Boston, but I squeezed in a ton of stuff. I definitely need to go back though!

Ben
Not a problem. Struggling to keep up with yours and some others threads' at the moment, you people can chatter for England. In the best possible way of course.. I did hear Mr SF's autobiography mentioned though, I think that might be one to add to my wishlist.
