Hi

 

I have just discovered this forum and am very impressed. It is great to find a group of like minded individuals who can lose hours if not days to a good book :).

 

I enjoy reading all sorts of books and am always open to new suggestions. I love discussing the books that I have read and am certain that this will be the place to do it.

 

Thanks for reading and I look forward to discussing books with you all in the future.

Hello, and welcome to the forum. Why don't you start be telling us what kind of books you enjoy? Who are your favourite authors and what is your favourite genre? :)

Currently I am reading The Broken Window by Jeffery Deaver. I was recommended this book by a stranger in a book shop and have to admit that I am loving it. I do mostly read crime books but had not come across this author, my favourites are Agatha Christie and Elizabeth George.

 

I have been reading through some of the threads and already have a large list of other titles to try - am thinking that this could get expensive:lol:

Hey there and welcome to BCF, Heffalumpi! Glad you joined us :welcome2:. I've only read one Elizabeth George, 'In Pursuit of the Propper Sinner' and I loved it, so I would love to hear about more of hers if you have any faves.

Thank you all for making me feel welcome here.

 

My favourite Elizabeth George has to be Careless in Red which is set in Cornwall. I love her style of writing and the detail that she goes into so that you actually feel like you are there. I have yet to be disappointed by any of her books.:welcome2:
