Just finished My Sister's Keeper. Thought it was really good,if very sad.

Cant decide to start, A child called it or Running with Scissors:help: Both from the Library,so need to read both soon:mrgreen:

A Child Called It is harrowing, but compulsive, reading. I read it quite quickly, despite having to stop several times to compose myself.

'Running With Scissors' was a Reading Circle read in June I think, there's an unspoilered (be warned!) thread here. I thought it was really well written and fairly mind blowing in parts.

 

'A Child Called It' is harrowing, not so much man's inhumanity to man, as Mum's inhumanity to son. It stays with you like a very bad aftertaste.
