lexiepiper Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Flash Gordon last night and Con Air the night before that; both gave me nightmares . Con Air is my second favourite Nic Cage film. The First? Face/Off of course Con Air is awesome as is the wonderful Mr Cage
ned Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 After Con Air every time i seen Steve Busemi in anything i always said "look there's the cannibal guy" because i never knew his name. Random Fact right there.
Stephanie2008 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I really like John Malkovich in that movie I have seen about the last hour or so but not the beginning. Must watch it
Rawr Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I think Steve Buscemi is hilarious, especially in Reservoir Dogs, speaking of which i wanna watch that later.
Stephanie2008 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I am scared to watch that movie. Someone once said something to me about it and I can't bring myself to watch it now
ned Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Tarintino is the man, well apart from Hostel WTF?
ned Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I am scared to watch that movie. Someone once said something to me about it and I can't bring myself to watch it now Did it include an ear?
Stephanie2008 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Yes it did, and some other stuff. And yet, I watch a lot of horror movies (I didn't mind Hostel ) but I just cannot watch that. Never will - like Exorcist That will never be on my screen.
ned Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 You got to remember that The Exorcist was scary in the 70's. Now it is just a mediocre horror.
Dimitra Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I just watched The Boat That Rocked and it was fantastic! I can't understand why it didn't do well in the box-office!
Stephanie2008 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I really want to see that. The cast list is brilliant and I thought the trailer looked great (although, like you said, it did get bad reviews which kind of put me off). Will have to watch out for it on Sky
Kylie Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 That episode is funny because Maggie tries to convince herself she's not racist and just digs further and further The Les Dennis one is nearly as bad as Keith Chegwin's (that must be one of the next ones I'm watching ) And she tries to hide the golliwog and gets caught. I love Extras but I've never heard of some of the guests so I'm sure I miss out on a few jokes.
Stephanie2008 Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Yeah and then she starts doing demonstrations with the dolls. Maggie is the best character on that show, closely followed by the odd couple that is Barry and the agent
BigWords Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Tarintino is the man, well apart from Hostel WTF? Did you enjoy Death Proof? The film bored me, despite my unending idolization of Tarantino's abilities. It's no Kill Bill (given the "Grindhouse" feel it aspires to, that's no surprise) even if it does try very, very hard...
ned Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 I didn't mind Death Proof, it was a good idea for a film. Might not have been Tarintino on top form but it was better than alot of the other offerings in the cinema.
Ausonius Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Christmas Vacation Chevy Chase on the roof! And then the power outage for the whole town!
AbielleRose Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 I loved it! It was the first time I had seen it. I couldn't stop laughing about the cat.
Kylie Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 I saw WALL-E last night. Very cute. And while we were in the video shop picking it up, I heard my ex mumbling movie names and heard something about Arsenic and Old Lace. They had a copy for sale (cheap!) and I've been wanting it badly for such a long time. I couldn't believe he found it just like that! I was very happy.
Mexicola Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Half Nelson, really good. Great film. Love Ryan Gosling I watched the film Moon at the weekend which I thought was excellent. Also watched a bit of Curb - the episode with the first night of The Producers.
Chrissy Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 I watched 'Shrek 2' while I completed bl**dy loads of ironing yesterday. I really enjoyed the mindless candy floss, it was amusing enough and completely non-taxing.
