SueK Posted August 26, 2009 Share Posted August 26, 2009 I noticed that this is being repeated this evening (I believe it was last shown around Christmas). Well, I can't remember if I posted about it but it is supposed to be "adapted" from the Book. The producers should have been shot. It should have been renamed "chap who goes to Scotland" because it is soooooo far removed from the book as to be laughable. I really don't understand why they have to do this. Of all the adaptations of this story (including the Hitchcock one and the Robert Powell one) NONE of them are remotely like the original story - it's not as if there wasn't enough action in the book. Fortunately, my team are playing in the CL qualifier on the other channel so I will watch that instead - I'm expecting far more drama Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
