Charm
Good choice of series' Gyre In the last couple of months I've read The Sookie Stackhouse series, as you know, and half of the Women of the Otherworld series. I've really enjoyed them both too. I also read the Twilight series, didn't you read it recently too?
Chrissy
Do you have 'The Gormenghast Trilogy' Paula? The reason I ask is I think I may have at least one of the books here (I will have to check to confirm!). If you don't (and more to the point - I do!) I can send it up to you. Did that make any sense?

chesilbeach
Thanks Bethany I am a bit cautious about The Gormenghast Trilogy, I want to read it but I have heard so many mixed reviews about the books I find that's usually a good thing, as it means I don't feel any pressure to love a book just because everyone else has, or feel awkward if I love something everyone else has hated. At least with mixed reviews, I can approach it knowing there are lots of different views out there, and I'm free to make up my own mind. I read the reviews but I try to not let them put me off
chesilbeach
I'm good, thanks, Gyre and I hope you're keeping well. I think this is a great challenge. I love finding a new series of books to wallow in Over the last few years, I've read quite a few series of books myself including the Agatha Raisin series by M. C. Beaton, the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde, the Mediator series by Meg Cabot, the Sookie Stackhouse series, Twilight, Young Bond, Alex Rider, various series by Alexander McCall Smith and the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness by Michelle Paver. I might give the Kelley Armstrong books a go myself - I need to reduce my current TBR list first though!

Kylie
Thanks Bethany I am a bit cautious about The Gormenghast Trilogy, I want to read it but I have heard so many mixed reviews about the books I've been thinking about getting The Gormenghast Trilogy for a while, but I'm just not sure about it. I don't know much about it and I've also read mixed reviews. I think I'll wait and see what you think of it before I make my decision! I think this is a great challenge. I've started so many series myself but never seem to finish them. I really should make a list, I think, and aim to get at least a couple of series finished this year (difficult when I don't have many complete series on my shelves). If I make any progress at all I'd be happy. Good luck with the rest of your challenge!
