Okay thanks. I'd certainly recommend His Dark Materials - Phillip Pullman which you have on TBR. One of my favourite series' of all time, nearly everyone I know has enjoyed them immensely. :D Also read all of The Chronicals of Narnia books you have waiting, and loved them too. So it looks like you've got some good books to read. :D

My personal favourite from your list would be "Hitch-Hiker's" as it was the first cult, hip, laugh-out-loud book I ever read - I was around thirteen and had bought it on the strength of my mum's reccommendation, she was so right I went back to the shop (and when I say shop I mean second-hand-book-lined alleyway) the day after and brought volumes 2, 3 and 4 (5 hadn't been published yet). I've been re-reading them every year or so for the past decade as the humour doesn't age, it's just as laugh-out-loud funny if you know it off by heart. Hysterical stuff, Douglas Adams is a sadly missed genius.
