Christie
Does anyone here read the Young Bond books written by Charlie Higson? They are fun, interesting and have twisting plots and cliff hangers. My favourite I gotta say is Hurricane Gold I loved the amazing maze full of nasties! If you have read them tell me what you think and If you havent read them YOU SHOULD! chesilbeach
Yes, I've read them all and loved them. They were fast-paced and exciting, and the sense of danger and peril keeps you turning the pages. I actually think the writing is better than the original Ian Fleming books.
Christie
Brillaint! I'm glad someone out there loves them as much as I do! I also feel that Charlie is a much better writer than Ian Fleming! Which is your favourite one? If you had to choose?
chesilbeach
I think, if I was pushed, I'd go for Double or Die as my favourite.

Maggie Dana
I'm in States and have been looking for Bond books for young readers. What age group are these aimed at?
chesilbeach
I'm not a parent so I find it difficult to judge, but I would guess probably 11 years upwards. If you go to www.youngbond.com, then select books, you can read an extract from each book, so that might give you an idea.
Christie
Hello, I would say that they are aimed at 8+. I'm 16 and love them and my sister is 12 and loves them too! But there can be some gruesome scenes so I would say 8+ definatly.
