Suzanna Addison
Yesterday after two months waiting I recieved my parcel of fantasy books ... Some new authors, Brent Weeks and Adrian Tchaikovsky, and old, Terry Pratchett. So, I will be a lot of fantasy - reviews too come!
Kreader
I've read Brent Weeks's Way of the Shadow about a street child who becomes an appretice to Wetboy (assasin extrodinaire). I think this is a great start for a new writer.
Suzanna Addison
I've started that one but got more engrossed in Patrick Rothfuss: Name of the Wind. So far that's more my sort of fantasy but Brent Weeks is good though I get the feeling he'll grow on me. Not sure on Adrian Tchaikovsky either as far as I'm concerned anything with trains and guns in it is more science fiction than fantasy! But I haven't got past the first hundred pages of either Brent or Adrian so saving true judgement until I do get really into the plots.
