BookBee8
Help! It's my BF and my anniversary next week and we've decided to go out for a meal and to the cinema. Trouble is, we're so indecisive that we can't choose which film to watch. We've narrowed it down to these two. So, I'm putting it to a vote with you guys! Help! Which shall we go see? Slumdog Millionaire or Watchmen? Any opinions very welcome, good or bad, even if you haven't seen either! Thanks in advance! Chimera
I haven't seen Watchmen so cant say. But Slumdog definitely is a film to see!
Colin Jacobs
Slumdog as it is a feel good film but I always wait for the DVD's so may buy both anyway. Marley and me will be a cinema visit though.

BookBee8
Really? What didn't you like about it?
Kell
I found Slumdog very dull in comparison to the book and rather a disappointment, but I'm very excited about Watchmen - it looks great!
DanC_84
I have seen both and preferred Slumdog. It was my second favourite movie of the year. My girlfriend and I saw Watchmen on the weekend and neither of us were overly impressed by it.

BookBee8
Yeah, why, what's it over there? 15? Thanks for all the responses guys! So far, Watchmen is leading with the votes (I've asked my flatmates too).

To be honest I thought it was pretty tame.
Mac
I really enjoyed Watchmen. It remained very faithful to the source! I didn't enjoy the cringy, porny sex bit in the middle, but overall I thought it was ace! Slumdog's supposed to be very good and 'feelgood' but with all the hype, I'm a bit put off. Hope you enjoy whatever you go and see. Happy anniversary.

scottishbookworm
Really? What didn't you like about it?the violence in the movie! especially seeing children getting beaten that really annoys me. But I did like Watchmen that was better!
