That would be good! I'm aiming for 100 read by the end of the year, but any more than that and I'll be happy :readingtwo:

 

Wow! That's an average of 8 per month! Best of luck Kate! Definately sure I could not match that pace, not anymore, at least!

Thanks for the review of The Pilgrim's Progress.

 

Many years ago, when I was about 9 or 10, I used to buy books from our little corner shop (I lived in a small village and it was the only place to buy books!) and I bought The Land of Far Beyond by Enid Blyton, which I loved. This book is very loosely based on The Pilgrim's Progress.

 

A couple of years ago I found it again in a charity shop but haven't quite got round to re-reading it. It was always my intention to try Bunyan's book afterwards, but I've decided after reading your review that 'life's too short', so I think I'll give it a miss. :blush:

I would say if you want to read the Christian message in a book, read The Shack.
