Ok I should have read the book and come to my own conclusion but I read the reviews on Amazon before I read the book and the reviewers slated it.

 

So do you read reviews before the book?

No it has not put me off reading it because I want to write my own review, negative or not.

Oh, I quite enjoyed Snowblind - I haven't looked at the reviews on Amazon for it but am surprised it got slated.

 

Anyway, sometimes I do look up a book on Amazon for the reviews if it is a book I haven't heard much about or the cover doesn't say alot, but most of the time I like to read them first and then read the reviews afterwards as sometimes they can unintentionally give away bits of the book.
