Peacefield Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Awww Bert & Ernie are so cute! Did they play Sesame Street way back when for you guys in the UK? Forgive me if that's a silly question . I watched it so much in the 70's all those guys seem like part of the family growing up, LOL. Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Well I watched it when I was growing up but that was in the 90's  Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 I love todays There should be a Sesame Street theme everyday Quote
Inver Posted November 7, 2009 Author Posted November 7, 2009 Yeh...Oscar the main man....lol. Is Slimey the worm with him though Quote
Peacefield Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Awww I forgot about Slimey! I can still see him inching along the top of Oscar's trash can. I really remember the people in the show like Gordon, Susan, Luis and sweet old Mr. Hooper. There was a deaf woman as well but her name escapes me at the moment. Quote
frankie Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 We have Sesame Street today with Cookie Monster's eyes as the 'oo' in the middle.... I haven't watched Sesame Street myself but I do know the show and most importantly I do know the . I don't know where I got that song from and I didn't remember any of the lyrics or the tune other than the Rubberducky part, the one word. I used to sing that one word every now and then and some of my friends thought I was going crazy, especially as I couldn't explain where I'd gotten that from, or if it was a song at all. Luckily my BF is innovative and this one time when he'd heard me sing it again he googled "rubberducky" and found that clip of Elmo in the tub and finally I knew where the song came from! I wasn't crazy after all. Quote
Chrissy Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Check out today's google ~ children's doodles depicting their heroes. This might be UK only as all the winners are from here. Quote

Inver Posted May 21, 2010 Author Posted May 21, 2010 I played Pac Man and I am as rubbish today as I was way back then Quote
lauraloves Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 you have to wait 10 seconds without pressing anything. i only found that by googling it though, i spend ages pressing every key. Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I'm not very good at Pacman. I usually try to eat the ghosts when the time has finished Maybe it's a little complex for me Quote
Peacefield Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I can think of many other artists I'd like to see featured on the Google home page than Frida Kahlo! I know she has many fans, but I must admit I'm not one of them . Quote
Chrissy Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Have you noticed today's google pic? It's celebrating Mary Shelley's 213th Birthday. That's a lot of candles!. Quote
