Weave Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 I finished 'Inkspell' about half a hour ago, I really enjoyed it and the sad parts just made me such a lovely book, very visual, just the whole world is excellent to read. Now to 'Inkdeath' Quote
Nollaig Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Yes. Yes you do. Go now. Tell them I made you do it. Quote

Nollaig Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I have the hardback copy of 'Inkdeath' and it is so pretty looking, the front cover I have the paperback, which is also pretty, but I want all three in hardback so I'm gonna get the hardback at some point. Quote
Weave Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I have the paperback, which is also pretty, but I want all three in hardback so I'm gonna get the hardback at some point. I agree, the paperback is just as pretty as the hardback Quote
poppyshake Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I loved 'Inkheart', was disappointed in 'Inkspell' and really struggled to read and finish it. I bought 'Inkdeath' because you have to know how the story ends after committing to two books .. but I can hardly summon up the will to read it .. I hope it will be better than 'Inkspell'. Quote
BookJumper Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Amazon informs me that the autumn will bring with it prettiful paperback gift editions of these which means no evil movie tie-in "Inkheart", yay! Looking forward to reading them after hearing so many good things about them on here - love the concept, just hope it's better realised than in the film... . Quote
Kylie Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Ooh, thanks for mentioning that BJ because I've been wanting to buy these but have been putting it off because I don't like the editions that are out. Quote
Nollaig Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 You do all know I have the first going round in a bookring? Quote
anisia Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I really enjoyed Inkheart Now I need to order the next two, hopefully soon! Quote
Ben Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Inkdeath I bought yesterday, starting it asap. Quote
paragonalley Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I liked the movie and so I bought the books! They were even better, I could not stop reading! My favorite charcter ist dustfinger, and I was really sad, when I finnished the last page of Inkdeath, because I knew, this was the end of the story! I would love to read more about Inkworld! Quote
Nollaig Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Inkdeath I bought yesterday, starting it asap. *squee!* Quote
Ben Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Started it today Roxi - had a busy few days! 100 and something pages in and I'm loving it. Quote
MissWhitlock Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Didn't really like the ending of Inkdeath. I was so outraged, I almost threw the book across the room in frustration. But you know, that's just me. Did YOU like it, roxi? Quote
Ben Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 *ahem* Just be careful Miss Whitlock that you don't divulge anything about the ending without putting spoiler tags around. Just in case I haven't finished it by the time I read this thread. Quote
Nollaig Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I haven't read it yet, I started it and lost my mojo, I'm only about 80 pages into it Quote
MissWhitlock Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Ohhhh. Thought you'd already finished it. my bad. and Ben, I'll watch my mouth. xD Quote
page turner Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 I agree with you on that Miss Whitlock - Inkheart was by far my favourite. Quote
MissWhitlock Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Yup, Inkheart was my favourite as well, followed closely by Inkspell. I just didn't like Inkdeath. Quote
paragonalley Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 A friend told me that Inkspell is in development! Unfotunatly I could not find any confirmation! Does anybody here know more about this rumor? Quote
