corina Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 There is a high probability that will change. I am 25 now. My parents read to me constantly when I was a kid and I read myself until my early teens. I then totally abandoned reading throughout high school with the exception of novels I was required to read for English. I didn't really start reading again until about 18 months ago. I read 50-something books last year. You give me hope, Dan C Quote
Chrissy Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 You give me hope, Dan C There is always hope! I now swap books with my former 'can't read -won't read' 24 year old, and he has a varied and exploratory taste in reading material. Quote
Susie Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I havent check all the replies, but looks like I'm one of the older ones here. I'll be 60 this July. Quote
Chrissy Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 That just means you should have the book reading wisdom of three twenty year olds! From the look of the poll, there should be at least 22 others in your 'bracket', while I am sitting in the bracket just below you, (or should that read above you?)the 41 - 50s. Quote
Susie Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 You're right Chrissy, there should be 23 in my age range. I didnt start reading more until about a year ago. Quote
greeeen Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 I'm 22, but I don't want to get any older. Wishful thinking of going to neverland Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 I've just realised I'm now in the 21-30 bracket Quote
Kidsmum Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 I'm 42 going on 43 but feel a lot younger so maybe i should have gone for one of the other age brackets Quote
Lexie Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 Second age brackets!!! 29+1 for me... and I'm sticking with 29 for a while! Quote
CornflowerBlue Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 I'm 24. I think I might stick with 24, 25 seems like I should have a real job and earn real money, which considering I'll just be starting on a PhD is unlikely! Quote
Weave Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 I'm still 36 but someone said to me the other day that I don't look 36, so that was good Quote
Peacefield Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 You don't look a day over 29, Weave! I'm still ugh38ugh. I do get carded occasionally when I go out though, which is nice! Quote

Bettyboop33 Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 well im 14 very soon to be 15 and im not so exited about that more exams more stress less reading . Quote
Chrissy Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 not long turned 56 - what's in a number? If that is a recent photo of you Rob, then please tell me what moisturiser you are using! I had you down (from the pic) as a year or two younger than me (42 'til August!). Quote
Mac Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 I don't actually feel any different to when I was 22. In my heart, at least. I guess my knees are a little ropier. And I can no longer feel the breeze ruffling my hair, but that's through choice! I try and convince myself that I get better looking with age. By the time I'm 568, I'll look like Brad Pitt. Quote
